Nocket is operated by Same Page Holdings LLC. This page explains what happens to information when you use nocketapp.com.

The news homepage

• To show local headlines and weather, we look up the approximate city and state for your internet connection's IP address using a database stored on our own server (IP Geolocation by DB-IP). The lookup is not sent to anyone else, and we don't store the result.
• For weather, we send the approximate coordinates of that city (not your IP address) to the U.S. National Weather Service.
• If you pick a state, it is saved in your browser's local storage on your device only. We don't use it for anything else.
• Headlines link to the publishers that wrote them. When you open a story you're on their site and their privacy policy applies.
• Like any website, our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.

Links we send you

Some nocketapp.com links are personalised links we send to people who have previously given us their details and agreed to hear from us. When you open one, we use the reference in the link to look up the details you gave us and pass them to the partner's page the link leads to, so you don't have to type them again. The partner's own privacy policy applies to what they do with them.
